Many fans of “All My Children” were excited when they heard that more of the major stars of “All My Children” have agreed to sign on to the reboot. This includes the actress Jill Larsen, who played Opal Cortlandt, and David Canary who plays the characters of Adam and Stuart. They also have heard that Susan Lucci would be returning for at least one episode of the new web series.
This means that the reboot will look a lot like the former beloved show. However, news has also stated that show will have new characters, including five new teenagers. This is to help draw in the younger crowd.
What will this new “All My Children” be like? Some rumors say that the show will be set five years after the shot was heard. Of course, the shot came from the gun that J. R. was holding. The question was if he was aiming at anyone, including himself. Some rumors say that the show will also begin with Adam’s and Dixie’s son waking up from the coma. The fans assume this means that J. R. shot himself and that he has been in a coma all this time. However, when it comes to soaps, you never should assume anything.
Fans may also wonder how much of the original show’s storylines will be brought up when the reboot begins. Many fans have been wondering what other Pine Valley residents Dr. David may have been able to bring back from the state of being assumed dead. At the end of the series, David acted like there was another mysterious person (a woman) he was hiding. Many fans were hoping that this mysterious person would be his daughter, Babe, and that somehow he managed to save her like he did Stuart.
Soon the answers to these questions and more will be answered. “All My Children” will begin production on February 25th. It is slated to begin on the web, on Hulu, Hulu Plus and iTunes sometime this spring. As this date, arrives Prospect Park is busy finalizing all of the contracts with the actors. As they are doing this, the fans are wondering which star will be next to agree to a contract in joining this historical web series.
Now the question for this writer is asking her readers is: “Which actor do you hope will be the next one to agree to sign on with Prospect Park and join the reboot of “All My Children?”
