Fans of “All My Children” will be pleased to hear that the soap opera is returning. In a report dated Jan. 5, a statement from the “All My Children” creator, Agnes Nixon, was released. Agnes Nixon confirms that “All My Children” is returning.
We Love Soaps also reported that “One Life to Live” is also coming back to television. Both canceled soap operas will be airing once again. Many of the characters from Pine Valley as well as Llanview will come back.
“I could not be happier,” Kay Williamson, from Oklahoma City, said. “I've watched 'All My Children” since it started. I miss all the characters and can't wait to see them again. I know they aren't real people, but they have been a part of my life for decades. I'm glad they will be back.”
“All My Children” premiered on ABC on Jan. 5, 1970. It had been canceled and replaced with a daytime talk show. Fans took to social media, fighting to have “All My Children” brought back. They also sent emails and wrote letters, begging for the return of “All My Children.”
At the time of publication, it was unknown the exact date that “All My Children” will start airing. It was also unknown which actors would be returning to the soap opera.
