Crazy has nothing on sanity's foe, attention-seeking martyr, Annie Chandler. Marissa managed to sneak away with JR.'s phone and listen to Annie's unstable voice messages. Marissa warns JR. of a confrontation with Annie but neither aware of Annie's rage resulting in a trashed hotel room. Annie's mental health is more questionable after hearing Marissa's inquiry to JR. about when he'll reschedule the court date for their divorce. This contradicts JR.'s claim that Marissa needed the postponement. When Tad questions JR.'s feelings for Annie, he admits to not being in love with her. Desperate to grip JR.'s attention, Annie fabricates a story that Scott followed and questioned their relationship. Scott puts doubt in JR.'s mind as to whether he should believe Annie's claim.
Greenlee visits David to get the divorce papers signed. David realizes he's lost her to Ryan and signs on the dotted line. David admits to Liza that while in his coma he heard her confession about her betrayal to Colby. David claims he has no intentions of blackmailing her but that's doesn't ease her mind.
Tad and Damon meet only for Damon to resolve he has to leave after all. Tad and Liza tried convincing him otherwise but fail again. Liza's guilt has transformed her into a different person overnight. Trying to make up for the pain she's caused, Liza got Damon accepted into a law program in California. She relinquished the decision, to tell Damon, to Tad. When Tad does, Damon accepts. Everyone comes together for Damon's bon voyage part, Colby included. Liza and Damon step out to talk and Asher overhears them admitting the best way to prevent Colby from finding out they slept together is by Damon leaving. The question is will he tell Colby or keep her from getting hurt even more? Before leaving town, Damon warns Asher not to hurt Colby if the get together. When Colby offers to leave with Damon, he lets her know that's not an option.
Cara is told about a complaint two parents have put in against her regarding the way she spoke to the parenting for their cancer stricken child. This leaves Cara compelled to admit to Jake it was a personal issue since she was diagnosed with leukemia as a child and not allowed to have a normal life.
