All My Children 'Colby Knows'

The search for Emma appears to be hopeful when Jesse becomes the voice of reason in reminding Ryan and Greenlee they don't have enough to charge David with anything.  Despite their disappoint, they question David and surprise, surprise, David doesn't admit anything.  Ryan decides to be a bit more creative in his investigation.  Using a voice recording of Annie, he tricks David into admitting he knows where she is.  With added pressure from Marissa, David gives their exact location but it's too late, Annie's gone.

Cara's taken into custody and accused of being a terrorist because of her travels to so many location over a brief period of time.  Once Cara explains it's due to the need for her medical expertise, the feds quesiton the gap of time she disappeared.  Cara admits she was out of remission and catches Jake off guard.  In the interest of keeping Cara in the U.S., Tad comes up with a brilliant idea.  The feds are dubious of Tad's claim to Cara being his fiancé until Cara pulls out the wedding ring (with Jake) she wears on her necklace.  Now for the tricky part, convincing everyone the relationship is genuine.  It's obvious that Jake isn't a fan of the marriage plan and Amanda's guilt is devouring her whole as she stays quiet.  Amanda's facade is broken by her confession to Jake that she called immigration.

Birds of a feather...some of Annie's crazy must have rubbed off on JR. if he thought Marissa would consider moving back into the mansion when asked.  When Colby becomes curious about Liza's comparison of the past with her mother and Tad to hers with Colby and Damon, Colby starts sleuthing and is stopped dead in her tracks when Opal lets out the fact that Tad slept with Liza's mother.  Just as Liza feared, Colby knows she slept with Damon and confronts her.  When Liza can't deny it, Colby ends the relationship with her mother.

Madison is learning the ropes of being a single parent and is empowered by turning down Scott's offer to join her during a checkup.  Whether it's an ex marrying your sibling, being pregnant and keeping it from your 'baby daddy' or betrayed in the worst way by your own mother, the future doesn't appear to be bright but it's not the end.
