'All my Babies' Mamas' sparks boycott and hasn't even aired yet

Is there a point when reality TV has gone too far? This is the new questioned posed by Inquisitr on Jan. 4. Oxygen Channel is holding a reality TV special called "All my Babies' Mamas" in the spring which will detail the life of Atlanta rapper Shawty Lo who has 11 children by 10 different women. To make matters even worse, his current girlfriend is 18 years old, a year younger than his oldest child.

To make things worse, a boycott petition has been created in regards to Oxygen's special that claims the show is demoralizing, exploits black children, moms, and dads, and is stereotypical of black families. The cable network fired back a response when the petition to remove the show from their lineup reached 15,000 signatures. All this drama over a show that hasn't even started yet!

In a YouTube video clip of the show, Lo attempts to name his 11 children and say who their mother is and he struggles to do so. His first child was born at the age of 15 and now Lo has nine daughters and two sons. All of his children and their mothers all live in the same house as each other in a "Sister Wives" fashion, however, from the preview, it seems that most of them can't stand each other and are often jealous and defensive. All these feelings are completely understandable when you consider that all the children aren't getting very good quality time with their father.

What do you think of the idea of the show?
