By Paul Fitzgerald - Oakville fitness instructor and model only Canadian hailed as one of best at the 2014 Arnold Sports Festival

Jill Bunny of Oakville, ON, has sure made a name for herself after taking part in the popular Bikini Competition at this year’s Arnold Sports Festival.

The 28 year-old, who owns Team Bunny: Fit Bunnies Fitness here in town, was the only Canadian to place in the Top 5 for the Bikini Class F Competition - a highly competitive four-day event at the Arnold Show (Feb 27 to March 2).

This huge competition attracted scores of hopefuls vying to win the top award. To be ranked in the top five is a remarkable accomplishment. There was a total of 221 participants in the event, so to be among only a handful of notables is purely amazing on many levels.

“All the training and hard work paid off,” says Jill, a well-known competition coach and CBBF National bikini competitor and fitness model. “It was an amazing experience to compete at this year’s Arnold Show and I was proud to represent Canada and my hometown – Oakville.”

Jill is always busy training and coaching others in Oakville and across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

She is even using a new sport orthotic that is helping her improve her performance on many levels. It’s called the New Age Performance Mouthpiece and this device aligns the jaw, placing it in its optimal position. Most of the population has a bite issue, so it’s proven that when your jaw is aligned, it has many positive benefits for the body.

“I admit I was quite skeptical when I first heard about this new invention” she says. “But I gave it a try and I am blown away with the results. I use the mouthpiece religiously as it my strength, balance and range of motion is greatly improved.”

So, what’s all the magic behind the device that so many people are now talking about?

Well, it’s actually all based on science but yet simple to explain. This new natural performance enhancer is taking the world by storm.

Dr. Anil Makkar, the co-inventor of the device, states: “The device is placed on the back of your lower teeth. Once it’s locked in, your jaw alignment is more structurally sound. Years of research has proven that when your jaw is properly aligned, then your body is more able to reach its peak performance. Most of the population has a bite issue, so this new technology is a breakthrough on many levels.”

Dr. Makkar has studied jaw alignment techniques extensively at the esteemed Las Vegas Institute (LVI) for Advanced Dentistry.

Rutgers University recently released a research paper on proper jaw alignment and concluded it has a definite positive impact on athletic performance.

Rob Charlton, co-owner of the New Age Performance Mouthpiece, is also thrilled Jill is on board helping tout the new invention.

“The New Age Performance Mouthpiece team is elated to have Jill helping get the word out there on our new product,” says Charlton. “She is well-schooled and experienced in her industry and she is set to show off the true benefits of what our mouthpiece has to offer. This is truly an exciting chapter for our new company.”

There have been a lot of scientific studies on performance mouthpieces and jaw alignment dating back to the 1950s. Several research and scientific papers have clearly stated that when one’s bite is in the correct position, the alignment of your body is also affected in a positive way. This new device, worn on the lower teeth, will allow everyone to experience immediate results with balance, increased strength, and flexibility.

The price of the New Age Performance Mouthpiece is $49.97 and comes in a performance water bottle case. Unscrew the bottom of the case and there is the device ready for use. And today it can be purchased online, as well as at dental offices throughout Canada and the United States.
