Wimbledon starts June 23 and how will you be following the action?

While I'm sure you will be tuning in to some of the more than 100 hours of television coverage of one of tennis' biggest events, you will no doubt be checking social media for results, highlights and images.

Grabyo is here to help.

Grabyo, a real-time and forward thinking video company announced a major deal in conjunction with The All England Lawn Tennis Club (AELTC) to distribute near-live highlights from Wimbledon to a global digital tennis audience of billions.

The venture will also allow the AELTC share real-time video highlights to sports fans on Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and YouTube.

What's important here is the social media experience created by Grabyo will compliment and enhance the TV experience of Wimbledon.

Social media should not be thought of as a substitute for actually watching a sporting event either live or on television. I think the folks at the AELTC and Grabyo understand that and I'm looking forward to seeing what is offered.

Wimbledon coverage in 2014 will be delivered by a network of broadcasters across 200 territories. Tennis fans are like a sponge and they will soak up more and more coverage so this year, fans can again enjoy Live @ Wimbledon, the AELTC’s live video and radio channel, delivered on and the official apps.

Wimbledon is right around the corner and now you can follow the tennis in a number of ways.
