The 4th of July is fast approaching and fragrance fashionistas in the South Bay are looking for the perfect, all-American fragrance to wear for this week-ends festivities. The 4th of July is a holiday everyone in the South Bay looks forward to year after year. The weather hovers in the 80's and 90's while friends and family gather together in the backyard to enjoy BBQ burgers, hot dogs and steaks. As fragrance fashionistas put together patriotic outfits of red, white and blue, the All-American fragrance will take center stage.

Fragrance for the 4th of July will need to be able to withstand the heat and not wear off from perspiration. The best warm weather fragrance notes are fruity florals and green florals which are enhanced by body heat. Green floral and fruity floral perfume will also be less likely to attract bees; which will flock to anyone wearing a heavy, floral based scent.

American perfumers have fabulous fragrances that will work perfectly for the 4th of July festivities. A green floral such as San Francisco based perfumer Ineke Balmy Days & Sundays, is the perfect choice for a backyard BBQ on the 4th of July. Balmy Days & Sundays will deliver the fresh scent of freesia, leafy greens and grass when first sprayed. As the fragrance settles in, honeysuckle, rose and mimosa will take over as the heart of the fragrance. At the end of the day, Ineke Balmy Days & Sundays will leave you with chyrpe accent and musk.

Ralph Lauren, the epitome of American fashion design, has the quintessential fruity floral fragrance to top off a fabulous red, white and blue ensemble. Ralph Lauren's Summer Romance will start off the day with passion fruit and hibiscus. When Summer Romance has settled in, the heart of the perfume is filled with tiare flowers. Ralph Lauren's Summer Romance will leave you with soft apricot musk at the end of the day.

The 4th of July is about celebrating everything fabulous in America. Enjoy the fairs, parade's and BBQ's. Most of all, enjoy everything American in the world of fragrance. Happy 4th of July!
