If you have missed the summer classic car cruises and hot rod shows then get ready because the biggest and best has been saved for last. Promoted as "The Largest Indoor Pre-73 All American Car & Custom Motorcycle Show On the East Coast" , this car show is the last "big one" of the year. The show is happening this Saturday and Sunday, December 7-8, 2013 at the Maryland State Fairgrounds Cow Palace in Timonium, Maryland.
Admission to the show is $12.00. The event provides proceeds to Toys for Tots and has already gathered 2000 toys and over $37,000 from sponsors and supporters, according to the show promotional material. While browsing through the rows of customs and classics guests will be treated to music from a live DJ. Also this year there will be a Live Auction, and of course Santa will be on hand.
Three hundred of the regions top cars and custom motorcycles are scheduled to on display. Car classes on display, all pre-1973 include, antiques, street rods, customs, muscle cars, hot rods, rat rods, and dragsters.
There will be $12,000 in cash and awards in a number of classes. Set up for those vehicles registered for the show is Friday, Dec 6, beginning at 8 a.m. through 8 p.m. Show hours for the public begins Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event is located at 2200 York Road in Timonium, Maryland. It's indoors so don't worry about the weather.
