As stated in chapter 2013-57, laws of Florida, signed on May 21, 2013, effective January 1, 2014, the 2014 election day dates are Primary Election: August 26, 2014 and General Election: November 4, 2014.
Just as our students in schools, colleges and universities ---we must be prepared for our test and exams – therefore, let the cramming begin so we can freshen up on our voting rights and privileges, ensure scrutiny and security are balanced so that no voter will be denied what has been established from the foundations of our local, state and federal government to allow “we the people” to be the largest and most valuable stake holders in the process of electing our official representatives no matter how high or how low in capacity they might be elected to serve, from the president to the party committee members and all in-between. We must be vigilant on all fronts (by educating ourselves), and we must be caring and considerate of all we call our fellow citizens.
One of the many duties/responsibilities of the Supervisor of Elections is to provide prospective to active candidates tools for effectiveness in organizing their campaigns, meeting requirements as candidates in the election cycle thereby making important data available to the voting public (voters and candidates must be prepared and be informed for action on our primary and general election dates for successful results at the local, state and federal levels).

For all that we undertake, before, during and after an election cycle, in a democracy a key factor must and should always be integrity. Integrity is a concept of consistency of actions, values, methods, measures, principles, expectations, and outcomes.
