As the holidays approach there are so many amazing family friendly activities that are available. One family favorite is enjoying the classic tale of the Polar Express as it comes to life at the Texas State Railroad.
Families climb "all aboard" festively decorated vintage trains to be comfortably seated. Dancing chefs deliver hot chocolate and cookies to train riders as they settle in for a ride to the North Pole. Better have your tickets ready as the conductor will make his way through the car to punch your tickets. Pajamas are encouraged, parents have even been known to wear them.
Once you arrive at the North Pole, you stay comfy and warm as Santa and his elves board the train to greet their guests and give them with their first gift of the holiday, a bell cut from his sleigh.
Join is as everyone sings holiday carols on the 30 minuter return ride to the station. Pick up one or more memorable merchandise or gift items in the gift store.
