All aboard for a 'Grape Escape' excursion on the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad

Here's a way for Cleveland wine lovers to escape the winter blues. Hop aboard the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad's "Grape Escape" train on Saturday, January 26 for a wine tasting excursion.

Grape Escape Train Excursion Departing the Rockside station in Independence at 7 p.m. on January 26, the 2 hour Grape Escape excursion through the Cuyahoga Valley National Park will give passengers a chance to sample 5 different wines. Wine experts on board will teach passengers about various wine characteristics such as aroma, body, bouquet and finish.

Chef-prepared appetizers designed to complement each wine will also be served. Each guest will receive a complimentary tasting glass.

The theme for this January 26 "Grape Escape" train excursion is "Heading South for the Winter -- A Taste of Wines from South America."

Coach seats (2 seats facing 2 seats) are available for $57 per person. Deluxe seating is $77 per person with all seats at tables. Premium seats ( in the First Class section or in the Elevated Dome Section) are $77 - $90 per person.

You must be at least 21 years of age to attend this wine tasting train excursion.
