Alison Eastwood, daughter of Clint Eastwood has officially said her “I Do’s” with sculptor Stacy Poitras, according to a People report dated Saturday, March 16.
Wearing a 1930’s-inspired beaded gown by Les Habitudes on Friday night at the Saddlepeak Lodge in Calbasas, Calif., the couple tied the knot before their family and friends.
“We are thrilled to be surrounded by our family for this very special day and appreciate their love and support as we begin our married life together,” the newlyweds told People.
Eastwood, 40, an actress, model, film director, and fashion designer has her own clothing line, called the ‘Eastwood Ranch.’ Additionally, she has recently appeared in the documentary ‘American Mustang’ along with the National Geographic Wild’s show ‘Animal Intervention.’ Her husband is known as a member of TV’s ‘Chainsaw Gang,’ and she has made appearances on there as well.
The pair met five years ago when Eastwood rode her horse to his studio at the Rustic Canyon General Store and Grill in Agoura, California.
After two years of dating, Poistras asked daddy Clint for his daughter’s hand in marriage. In 2012 after keeping their engagement a secret, they announced their big news.
Poistras had noted in a previous report that his soon to be father-in-law is a cool guy, but definitely a man of few words.
Bride Alison is the third born of Clint’s seven children with first wife, swimsuit model, Maggie Johnson. Her big acting debut came in 1984 when she starred as her father’s opposite in the film ‘Tightrope.’
