Aline Franzoi and Camila Oliveira to serve as ring girls for UFC on FX 7

According to a Jan. 18 report from MMA Junkie, Brazilian octagon girls will grace the UFC's famed octagon for the first time in promotion history.

Camila Oliveira and Aline Franzoi, both Sao Paulo natives, will work cage-side at UFC on FX 7 in place of Arianny Celeste and Brittney Palmer.

"At the beginning, I was slightly nervous, but then I started to see how things worked, and it was a very fun experience," Oliveira told MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com). "There's really no way for me to be able to express how happy I am."

Camila Oliveira and Aline Franzoi's gig is officially just a one-time stint, according to UFC officials.

"It was a very good experience, and there was a lot of energy," Franzoi said of the UFC on FX 7 weigh-ins. "I did get slightly nervous, but everything was great, just like I expected it to be. I'm really very happy to be here, and I hope to be able to continue with the UFC."

UFC on FX 7, which is slated for Jan. 19 at Sao Paulo, Brazil, features a headliner of Michael Bisping against Vitor Belfort.

"It is a pleasure to announce the first Brazilian Octagon Girl in the first event that we have in Brazil in 2013," said Grace Tourinho, a UFC representative in Brazil."Tomorrow, not only the Brazilian fans, but fans from around the world will be able to meet our first representative."
