Dr. Dirk Farrell recently made presentations demonstrating the importance of balance and body structure in both work and play at Fuerte Fitness and Biznik. Dr. Farrell is the founder of and primary practitioner at Align Wellness Clinic in Seattle, and he showed participants importance of stability in running, working out or simply sitting. As more and more people follow the trend toward greater health, such simple shifts become increasingly popular, and that was evident during Dr. Farrell's presentations.
Everyone who attended these presentations got an experience of how most shoes (including expensive running shoes) and chairs destroy balance and health and how making simple changes to your shoes or your chair can improve posture, exercise results, basic comfort and overall health. Participants also experienced nearly instant change in their posture and ease of breathing when they removed their shoes, from Dr. Farrell’s simple shoe correction and from sitting on a the simple firm wedges Dr. Farrell brought.
Dr. Farrell practices what he preaches competing in bicycle races and running marathons while treating patients in his Seattle Align Wellness Clinic.
