Sega has just released a new video "Concept to Game" for their upcoming Gearbox shooter, "Aliens: Colonial Marines". The trailer gives players a sneak peek at how Gearbox created the Alien Hive. The publisher describes the Alien Hive as "a dark, imposing place of fear you won’t soon forget."
"Aliens: Colonial Marines" is a sci-fi first person shooter currently being developed by Gearbox Software. Players will take on the role of a United States Colonial Marine named Cpl. Christopher Winter as they use iconic weapons from the movie such as the flamethrower, pulse rifle, and robotic sentry turrets.
The release date has been delayed several times due Gearbox wanting the game to feel as "authentic" as possible and to appeal to longtime fans of the Alien film franchise. "Aliens: Colonial Marines" will be released on February 12, 2013 for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
