Grammy-winning artist Alicia Keys will perform and lend her voice at the upcoming Super Bowl in New Orleans.
This will be Alicia Keys’ third appearance performing live at a Super Bowl. Keys’ first performance was singing “America the Beautiful” back in 2005, and was part of the pre-game show in 2008.
Before the actual game begins, Keys will sing the National Anthem LIVE in front of thousands at New Orleans, Mercedes-Benz Superdome, while millions will watch throughout the country.
The New York-born and "This Girl on Fire" artist, who will turn 32 next week, will perform first, then at half-time, fellow R&B and pop singer Beyoncé will perform at Half-Time.
Keys precedes singer Kelly Clarkson, who sang the National Anthem last year.
Sunday’s AFC and NFC Championship games will determine which teams will enter the Super Bowl. It is between (AFC) New England Patriots vs. Baltimore Ravens and (NFC) Atlanta Falcons vs. San Francisco 49ers.
Super Bowl XLVII will air Sunday, February 3rd on CBS television.
