A day after celebrating her birthday in Madrid, Alicia Keys joined Taylor Swift in Cannes where the singers attended the NRJ Music Awards at Palais des Festivals on Jan. 26.
Keys glowed on the red carpet in a black Michael Kors gown featuring on-trend cut-outs. Swift continued her plunging neckline style in a beaded sequined Elie Saab mini dress that showed off her long legs. Swift accesorized with Ofiria earrings, a Lorraine Schwartz ring and Jimmy Choo heels.
Earlier this week, both Keys and Swift were in Madrid for the 2013 40 Principales Awards at Palacio de los Desportes. Keys picked up the Best US Composer of the Last Decade award and performed some of her hits onstage, including “New Day,” “Girl on Fire,” and “Brand New Me,” after which the crowd serenaded her with “Happy Birthday.”
She later tweeted, “Awwww!!!! All These people just sang me happy birthday to help bring in my day!!! Such a beautiful memory to have of Madrid!! Thank u thank u Spain!!”
Swift won the International Artist Award and also performed on stage.
