The hot music couple that includes R&B/Pop singer Alicia Keys and music producer Swizz Beatz, are readying the arrival of a little "Brand New Me" with expectance of their second child. E Online reported on Thursday July 31 that the "Brande New Me" singer made the announcement early Thursday morning via her Instagram account that she and hubby Swizz Beatz were celebrating their anniversary and also expecting "another little angel."
With picture of the glowing couple included in the message to her Instagram followers, this is what the songstress had to say: "Happy Anniversary to the love of my life @therealswizzz !! And to make it even sweeter we've been blessed with another angel on the way!! You make me happier than I have ever known! Here's to many many more years of the best parts of life! "
According to E Online, producer Swizz Beatz, who is best known as the musical genius behind many of the beats from hit singles of the popular 90s music team Ruff Ryders (DMX, Eve, The Lox, Drag-On...) also took to Instagram to post his feelings toward the great news of another child on the way.
"Love is life & life is love and we're so excited for another GIFT from up above Happy Anniversary my Goddess 4 years of greatness & cheers to 100 plus more inshallah."
Alicia Keys, who revealed during a pre-taped interview on the Wendy Williams show back in February of 2013, documented by theybf.com, that she and now husband Swizz Beatz actually met back when she was 16 or 17 and dated for a while before actually making anything official. During the show, Keys spoke about her then 2-year old son Egypt who was just learning to walk and play the piano, and also spoke about how she would love to have more children one day.
"I definitely want more kids, I do" explained Keys to Wendy Williams. "I would like to wait at least two more years..." she said.
Well, with the air date of that show being a couple of weeks shy of one year and 6 months ago, Alicia Keys almost timed it perfectly for her two year waiting period.
This family continues to grow together, accomplish news things together and continues to learn from one another as Alicia stated during a past interview with Us Weekly.
"I think we've taught each other a lot," she says of her husband. "He's taught me to live more fully, and I think I've taught him to live more deeply."
Now, five years later the couple can look back to 2009 when Beatz first proposed and she said yes, to walking down the aisle to say "I do" while she was six months pregnant with her now 3 year old son Egypt, to the birth of the newest edition to the family.
Alicia has not revealed how far along she is in the pregnancy nor whether she will be having a girl or another boy.
