Although she's no longer part of "Mob Wives," Alicia DiMichele is still hanging out with the show's stars. On Wednesday, June 18, she posted a photo of herself partying with Angela "Big Ang" Raiola, Drita D'Avanzo and Natalie Guercio to her Instagram account.
The photo shows the four ladies outside, with the wind sweeping through their hair. They're dressed to kill, in short and tight dresses, with the exception of Big Ang, who was more prepared for the windy weather with her blazer and jeans. Alicia's caption makes clear that while she's no longer a mob wife, the friendships that she made on the show are here to stay. She wrote that their friendship goes beyond the TV show.
After the departures of Karen Gravano, Carla Facciolo, Ramona Rizzo, and Love Majewski, Alicia was brought in along with Natalie for the show's fourth season as the "new blood." Alicia's storyline, that of dealing with her husband's detainment and sentencing for racketeering and her own impending sentencing for embezzlement, was a major part of season four. It provided the show with a much-need mob connection.
Alicia's husband, who is reputed Colombo enforcer Edward (Tall Guy) Garofalo, Jr., was sentenced to seven years for murder conspiracy, extortion and witness tampering after filming ended. In late April, Alicia, whose own sentencing has been delayed, announced that she was leaving the show. A source said that she made the decision in order to improve her image.
Notably, the one person missing from Alicia DiMichele's photo is Renee Graziano. In season four of "Mob Wives," Renee became the outsider. Even her old allies Big Ang and Drita D'Avanzo no longer blindly supported her, especially when it came to her feuds with Alicia and Natalie Guercio. It certainly looks as if Renee's still the outsider!
