Bakersfield's Alianza Recycling and Recovery LLC is teaming up with Taft's Westside Disposal to benefit Taft College, a West Kern Community College. The recycling event will be held in the Taft College main parking lot on Saturday February 16 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Please help to support our affordable higher education by bringing your old televisions, monitors, computers, laptops, and any other electronic devices that you no longer need (and keep them out of our local landfills). Also being accepted for recycle at the Taft College main parking lot on Saturday will be car batteries, rechargeable batteries and large appliances. Now is the time to get a head start on your Spring cleaning!
All proceeds from this recycling event will benefit Taft College.
