Well, we all think our children are unique, creative and talented, but Alexis Martin’s parents really have reason to boast. Their daughter’s IQ is so high, experts aren’t even sure what it is. They do know that it’s well above the norm as this toddler, who reads at a fifth-grade level, has an IQ over 160. The average IQ tends to be in the 100 range. In fact, Alexis’ IQ is so high, she is Arizona’s youngest member in Mensa. You must have an IQ above 140 to be admitted. Some even wonder if little Alexis may end up being one of the world’s most brilliant minds.

Her parents knew she was special when between the ages of 12 and 18 months, she started reciting her bedtime stories verbatim. Forget about Nick Jr., folks, this baby was reciting chapter books back to mom and dad. Ian Martin, Alexis’ proud father, spoke of his daughter’s incredible memory. “Anytime she learns a word and just picks up the word through anything, she never ever uses it in the incorrect context, ever.” He stated.

Alexis’ mother, Jackie Martin, is also amazed by her daughter’s abilities. She spoke of how Alexis taught herself Spanish by using an app. “Now she can read and translate and correct us on Spanish,"

You may see a video report about Alexis Martin and her amazing abilities in the video player above. What do you think? Is Alexis the smartest child in the world?
