Alexandria office of the arts to hold roundtable discussion April 30th

Local environmental professionals and people interested in public art and environmental sustainability are invited to attend a Public Art Master Plan roundtable discussion about public art and the environment on Wednesday, April 30th at 7 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Durant Center, 1605 Cameron St. Refreshments will be served.

The City of Alexandria Office of the Arts is working with the team of Todd Bressi with Via: Partnership and Lardner – Klein Landscape Architects in developing a city-wide public art master plan. This is the second in a series of focused roundtables used to gather information and opinions that will inform the consultants’ understanding of the nature of the community, public space and community arts, as well as the character and use of valued community spaces, in Alexandria. Individuals interested in discussing how public art and the environment can work together are encouraged to attend.
