Alexandria King Street Art Festival September 13-14

Alexandria's famous and well - known annual King Street Art Festival will transform the city’s historic main street into a world-class outdoor art gallery on Saturday and Sunday, September 13-14. This is the 12th year of the festival.

Festival booths line King Street between Washington and Union streets, featuring over six blocks of artwork by more than 200 artists from the US and abroad. This festival will be on the weekend of September 13th and 14th.

At this community festival, art enthusiasts can discover paintings, life-size sculptures, jewelry, photography, ceramics and more, offering extraordinary art for every taste. More than $15 million in art will be on display, providing visitors with the opportunity to purchase one-of-a-kind wares and meet the artists behind the work, hearing firsthand what inspires them. Plus, visitors can delight in interactive art activities and The Art League’s much-loved “Ice Cream Bowl Fundraiser.”

With this popular festival spanning two days, visitors can take advantage of luxurious accommodations just steps from King Street and transform their festival experience into a creativity-filled weekend.

Old Town Alexandria, from King Street to Washington Street east to Union Street.

Transportation
Take the Yellow or Blue lines to King Street Metrorail Station, then hop on the free King Street Trolley to the Festival. It is recommended to take the metro if possible as parking around the Festival will be difficult.
