Alexander Skarsgard talks ‘True Blood’ season 6

Season five of True Blood left fans wondering what will happen next, since Bill became a sort of scary, bloody vamp god. The powers that be have been giving small glimpses into the next season now that the cast and crew are hard at work filming season six. Alexander Skarsgard for one, sat down for a chit chat with WetPaint (Jan. 21) while at The Sundance Film Festival .

Skarsgard, also known as viking vamp, Eric Northman mentions that while he has only read through the first two scripts “it’s good stuff so far” and mentions that a big war is coming to Bon Temps. Bill will be back but he sadly can’t give any more details than that. Mark Hudis recently teased that King Bill will have “more bite."

Joe Manganiello (Alcide Herveaux) also gave a brief glimpse into the upcoming season, mentioning that season six will be a wild season and that “My character’s taken over the wolf pack, so as an alpha, and a pack of dogs, you gotta regulate, you gotta set it straight with everybody so there’s some violence. It’ll be fun.”

“True Blood” season six returns to HBO in June
