The Duchess of Cambridge's favorite designer, Alexander McQueen, has pulled out of 2013 Paris Fashion Week. The twin pregnancy of lead designer, Sarah Burton, is reportedly the reason behind the Fashion Week no-show on the catwalk, Vogue reports today (Friday).

Instead of showing the 2013 fall/winter line at Paris Fashion Week, Alexander McQueen will instead offer a smaller private showing on March 5. Sarah Burton, who designed Kate Middleton's wedding dress along with many of her looks, is due with twins in February. Instead of traveling to Paris for Fashion Week, she'll be staying in her hometown of London -- either as a new mom or a very heavily pregnant one.

A spokesperson for Alexander McQueen is quoted as saying the Duchess' favorite designer will be back on the catwalk in October to show the spring/summer 2014 line.
