When you send your nominations include the athlete, name of the school, stats for the week of the nomination.
2013 Fall season- Week 6- October 7th- October 13th
Alex Speed- PCHS- soccer- Scored six goals in 6-0 victory over Penquis. Speed has 19 goals and three hat tricks this season. Had one assist in 3-2 loss to Dexter.
This is the second athlete of the week for Speed, and the first time she has earned the honor alone. She shared AOW with Max McHugh from Central on October 14th, 2013.
Katey Curtis- Ellsworth- soccer- Had four goals and two assists in 6-1 victory over Washington Academy.
Julia Annis- Foxcroft- field hockey- Scored two goals in 3-0 win over Dexter.
Sherraiah Grace- Orono - field hockey- Recorded a hat trick in 4-0 victory over John Bapst.
Abbey Jordan- Dexter- soccer- Scored one goal in 1-0 victory over Foxcroft. Scored three goals and had one assist in 9-0 win over Searsport.
Michaela White- Dexter- soccer- Recorded a hat trick in 9-0 victory over Searsport. Had one assist in 3-2 victory over PCHS.
Bobbie Chambers- Dexter- soccer- Scored two goals and had two assists in 9-0 victory over Searsport. Had one goal and two assists in 3-2 victory over PCHS.
Tasha Pratt- Dexter- soccer- Recorded shutouts against Foxcroft and Searport and now has seven shutouts in goal for the Tigers this season.
Becky Lopez-Anido- Orono- soccer- Scored two goals in 3-0 victory over Central.
Kayla Braley- Nokomis- field hockey- Scored in overtime in 1-0 victory over Winslow.
Delani Bennett- PCHS- soccer- Recorded 10 saves and her fourth shutout in the last five games in 6-0 win over Penquis.
