Alex Jones challenges Piers Morgan to gun control debate (Video)

Radio talk show host Alex Jones apparently has much more to say to television host Piers Morgan, and hopes to do so in the arena of a formal debate. After an appearance on "Piers Morgan Tonight" in which Jones lost control of his temper and seemingly the ability to control the volume of his voice, he has issued a request for the two to participate in a structured and moderated debate to discuss issues concerning gun control.

Prior to his appearance Jones promoted a petition on The White House website to have Morgan deported for attacking the Second Amendment - which as of this writing has no less than 100,000 signatures.

In their first televised meeting Jones was nothing short of aggressive and rambling, bouncing from Second Amendment rights to the prominence of antidepressant drugs within society to at one point challenging Morgan to a boxing match. Alex Jones is heard on 140 radio stations and has a loyal following of conservative listeners - a large portion of which are gun owners and participants in the prepping movement. In terms of credibility as a professional journalist Jones did himself no favors in losing control of both his temperament and focus on the issue at hand.

Morgan has stated that the request is under consideration, but as of the present time no specific arrangements have been finalized.
