X-Factor USA winners, Alex and Sierra, are scheduled to headline “School Night!” at Bardot in Hollywood on Monday, June 16th. The event is free if you RSVP online at www.ItsASchoolNight.Com. Opening acts include Even Mellows, The Kite, String Tangle, and U.S. Royalty.

After winning the final season of X-Factor in December of 2013, Alex Kinsey and Sierra Deaton have been hard at work writing and recording their debut album. The duo recently dropped a lyric video for their debut single, Scarecrow. The folk-pop sounding song is reminiscent to The Civil Wars or Of Monster’s and Men. The duo (who is also a couple) have collaborated with some musical heavyweights for the album, including: John Legend, Jason Mraz, and Toby Gad.

Since they’re both songwriters, they revealed that the album is both personal and fun, telling Clevver TV that, "you would wanna listen to it in the car with windows down…it’s definitely a summer album.” Their album is tentatively scheduled to hit stores later this year, and in the mean time they’re traveling all over to promote their single, including stops at Billboard, Buzzfeed, and even a performance on NBC’s The Today Show on Monday, June 23rd

If their new single, Scarecrow is any indication, Alex and Sierra are on track to be the next big thing in pop music!
