It has been a big year for Canadian country music singer/songwriter Alee starting with the release of her first video “Don’t Say You Love Me.” As if that were not enough, the young artist’s newest release “Crazy” has hit the Canadian Country Top 40.
Via Twitter on Aug. 27, Alee thanked fans for singing along and requesting “Crazy” which hit the Canadian Top 40 yesterday at number 37. “Crazy” ranked higher than “Red” by Taylor Swift at number 39 and right below Miranda Lambert’s “All Kinds of Kinds” at number 36.
Not only is Alee’s hit single “Crazy” on the Canadian Country Top 40, she is scheduled to appear at the Jiffy Lube FanFest at Country Music Week in Edmonton, Alberta. Alee was chosen by fans to represent the Association of Country Music in Alberta (ACMA) in an online national Facebook contest hosted by the Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA).
Fans are invited to join Alee for this free “larger than life festival” Saturday, Sept. 7 from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. in Halls ABC at the Shaw Conference Centre. Also scheduled for meet-and-greets and performances are Michelle Wright, High Valley, Hey Romeo, Jason Blaine, Gord Bamford, Chad Brownee, George Canyon, Tim Hicks, Kira Isabella, Charlie Major, Aaron Pritchett, Deric Rutta, Small Town Pistols, Dallas Smith and Bobby Wills.
