Alec Baldwin’s daughter Ireland has signed with a modeling agency – actually, she has signed with both Two Management out of Los Angeles and IMG, which is arguably the world’s top modeling agency. Apparently the two organizations will not be in conflict. The very tall beauty, 17, told friends and fans she is “ready to weeeeerk,” reports the Daily Beast on Monday, March 11.
Actress and former model Kim Basinger and former “30 Rock” star Alec Baldwin are Ireland Baldwin’s parents, now divorced. Both may have contributed to her fabulous looks, but neither father nor mother are close to her towering 6’2” in height. In a statuesque class by herself, Alec Baldwin’s daughter has signed a modeling contract only a year later than her famous mother, who became a Ford model at 16 years of age.
Kim modeled for years, before making movies the heart of her career. “My mom was the hottest Bond babe. Lets get real,” she wrote to caption a Twitter post.
Ireland Baldwin is a fan of all kinds of social media, so it’s a cinch she will soon have a large and loyal fan base following her career.
On Tumblr, the newly-minted model lists a wide range of activities the cares about, including acting and dancing, writing, and alternative medicine. Fitness and health are major concerns, and she shares her daily routine with fans: 30 minutes to one hour of cardio per day and daily servings of green tea, but she insists that she doesn’t “fast, binge or starve.” In fact, she’s a coffee addict.
