Film and television actor Alec Baldwin is an actor comfortable in both lead and supporting roles.
Baldwin has appeared in numerous Hollywood films, from Beetlejuice and The Hunt for Red October in the 1980s to the Martin Scorsese films, The Aviator and The Departed in the 2000s.
Alec Baldwin, late night/early morning of February 11, 2010, was taken to the Lennox Hill Hospital in New York City by an ambulance due to a reaction to possibly taking an over the counter "pill" (from a police report).
Ireland, Baldwin's teen-aged daughter, called 911 saying Baldwin was non-responsive.
Paramedics found Baldwin to be responsive when they arrived at his apartment. He had an hour long check up and told to be in fine condition, so he returned home the same day.
