Alec Baldwin and wife expecting baby this summer (Video)

Alec Baldwin and his wife, Hilaria, announced earlier today that they are expecting.

The 54-year-old "30 Rock" actor married the "Extra" Special Correspondent Hilaria Thomas in 2012, and announced the news there today in an interview with A.J. Calloway.

"It was a surprise, a wonderful surprise," she told Calloway.

The 28-year-old yoga instructor and tv correspondent said she took the test before telling Baldwin, and when she found out it was positive, she was so surprised that all the could do was scream.

“There’s a scream I heard, which is a scream normally reserved if there’s a spider in the house, not exaggerating. Normally, I will be reading a book. We're in the country, it's quiet, some time to really relax and unwind and sometimes, once a month, you hear ‘Ahhh, Alec, Alec!’ I come upstairs, and there’s a spider on the wall. So then I hear that scream again, but it was not a spider," said Baldwin about the incident.

"You can make as many jokes as you want, but it really is the most amazing thing," he added.

Hilaria, who has started to show, said reality is setting in for her and her husband. "Now, I'm showing, it's getting to be much more, like, OMG this is actually gonna happen, now we can start the nursery, the everything, the dreaming," she said.

Baldwin and Hilaria married in June 2012 after a three-month engagement. Baldwin also has an 18-year-old daughter with former wife Kim Basinger.
