Aldi's expands gluten-free line of products

I have been shopping at Aldi for years because of their low prices and selection. I even went into one while we were in Germany to find that the store was set up exactly the same as in the U.S. Their gluten-free baking mix goes into my cart every time I am there, so imagine my surprise when I learned the store has expanded its gluten-free product selection to include more mixes, cookies, pasta, cereal bars, granola, frozen entrees, pizza, and more.

Aldi's gluten-free products should be in all stores by May 7 and they are certified by NSF International. It also appears that their gluten-free products have received new branding and packaging too. Their new products include:

  • Gluten Free Chewy Bars - $2.49
  • Gluten Free Granola Crunch - $3.49
  • Gluten Free Yellow Cake or Cookie Mix - $2.99
  • Gluten Free Rice Pasta & Cheddar (dairy) - $1.49
  • Gluten Free Pizza Crust or Cornbread Mix - $2.99
  • Gluten Free Pepperoni or Cheese Pizza (dairy) - $4.99
  • Gluten Free Brownie or Baking Mix - $2.99
  • Gluten Free Stuffed Sandwiches - $2.69
  • Gluten Free Brown Rice Spaghetti - $1.89
  • Gluten Free Corn Pasta - $1.29
  • Gluten Free Wraps - $3.99
  • Gluten Free Multi-Seed Crackers (dairy) - $1.49
  • Gluten Free Rosemary and Olive Oil Multi-Seed Crackers (dairy) - $1.49
  • Gluten Free Cheese Ravioli or Lasagna (dairy) - $3.29
  • Gluten Free Pancakes (dairy) - $2.69
  • Gluten Free Soft Baked Cookies - $2.49
  • Kirkwood Gluten Free Chicken Breast Nuggets - $4.99
  • Glutino Gluten Free Pretzel Sticks or Twists - $3.49

These gluten-free products are only around for a limited time and they are inexpensive and pretty tasty. I am most intrigued to try the cornbread mix, stuffed sandwiches, ravioli, lasagna, and wraps. We use the baking mix to make pancakes, biscuits, and waffles the whole family enjoys.

I was told by a cashier that if the products do well, they might be added to the year-round rotation, so please support their efforts and help keep these affordable gluten-free products on their shelves.
