Aldi is Coming to Brighton

The Aldi discount grocery chain is set to open a second location in Livingston County on February 18th in the Brighton Mall. They will be taking over the vacant location in the mall, where the Sears store used to be located. The Brighton location will be very similar to the Howell location, and carry basic groceries at a discounted price. Aldi is a great place to find items such as milk, eggs, meats, fruits and vegetables. They also offer a limited selection of beer and wine. One way that Aldi keeps it's prices low is by carrying mostly store brand products.

They do not take checks or credit cards, but will accept cash, EBT and most debit cards as payment.

The grand opening will be celebrated with a ribbon cutting in front of the store at 9 a.m. the morning of the 18th. The stores hours will be 9 a.m.- 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 10 a.m.- 7 p.m. on Sunday.
