‘Alcatraz’ television series premieres January 16th

J.J. Abrams highly anticipated midseason replacement will debut with a two-hour broadcast on Monday, January 16 at 8PM ET on FOX.

“Alcatraz” is a police procedural with a sci-fi twist.

The pilot follows SFPD Det. Rebecca Madsen (Sarah Jones) as she leads a team of Alcatraz experts (Jorge Garcia, Sam Neill, and Parminder Nagra) to investigate a cop killing perpetrated by Jack Sylvane (Jeffrey Pierce), a deceased Alcatraz inmate who is the first of several former prisoners who mysteriously reappear in the present day.

Robert Forster, Jason Butler Harner, Jonny Coyne, and Santiago Cabrera co-star.
