As the summer draws near an end, Albuquerque residents are enjoying the blue New Mexican skies and bright sun. Summerfest has been one of the Duke City’s summer traditions for many years past; thousands come to enjoy live music, local fare, and tables filled with vendor's unique artisan products.
Summerfest has been held throughout the city including the Northeast Heights, Nob Hill, downtown where the festivities were originally held, and the Westside. Summerfest finished up with bang featuring four fantastic bands; closing out the music fest was Better than Ezra who put on a great show to close out summer in the 505.
Although Summerfest 2013 has wrapped up, there are plenty of other fun festivals going on through the fall all over the Duke City. Bernalillo is currently hosting its annual wine festival, which will close out on Monday, September 2.
