Albuquerque shooting: Teen shooter kills 5 people

An Albuquerque shooting on Sat., Jan. 19, 2013 left five people dead. Three children and two adults were shot and killed in a New Mexico home, reported Huffington Post. The incident actually took place approximately 10 miles southwest of downtown Albuquerque.

The suspect in the murders is a 15-year-old boy who has not been publicly identified. The teen was placed under arrest by the Bernalillo County sheriff's department. He was booked on several charges such as three counts of child abuse resulting in death and two counts of murder. Each of the victims sustained multiple gunshot wounds in the tragic Albuquerque shooting.

Investigators are currently in the process of identifying the victims and trying to determine whether there is a connection between the teen suspect and the five deceased. A neighbor said a married couple and four children, two boys and two girls, resided in the home where the Albuquerque shooting took place. That information has not been publicly confirmed by police.
