Well, the ink isn't even dry on Governor Cuomo's treasonous signing of the most restrictive gun control law in the country and the rest of the gun control sheeple law makers across the country are wanting to follow suit.
That's no exception here in New Mexico where Gun control advocates are wasting no time. On the second day of the 60-day legislative session, Rep. Miguel Garcia (D-ABQ) introduced House Bill 77, imposing sweeping regulations on firearms sales in the State of New Mexico. I hope that his treasonous acts to trample the 2nd amendment are met with vigorous opposition and that this proposed legislation costs him his job. It's time that the people we elected to support and defend the constitution are held accountable.
If you are a gun rights enthusiast or supporter of the 2nd Amendment you should contact Miguel Garcia (D-ABQ) HERE to inform him and his staff that his trampling of the 2nd Amendment and our rights to keep and bear ams will not be accepted or tolerated!
What this law maker is proposing is SHAMELESS and historically speaking has led to Genocide! See below quote from Adolph Hitler on Gun Control:

This type of continual slow and steady incrementalism must not stand. Law abiding citizens should not be held responsible for a failed mental health system in this country, and a criminal justice system that is like Swiss cheese!
Just the mere proposition and suggestion of legislation should cost this lawmaker his job!
See below for just a few hi-lites of what this legislation is proposing:
- HB 77 creates a state registry of legal firearms transferors and purchasers. (gun registration was the precursor to confiscation in Germany)
- HB 77 establishes a $25.00 fee on private gun transfers - $35.00 if the transaction
occurs at a gun show - amounting to a tax on gun purchases - HB 77 restricts ALL private transfers of firearms - not just those taking place at
gun shows - including those between family members, friends and co-workers. - Any person who is not a federal firearms licensed dealer (FFL) would have to contact the New Mexico Department of Public Safety prior to transferring any firearm to any prospective purchaser, provide the department detailed information on the firearm being sold and the person to whom the firearm is being transferred, and get approval from the department before the transfer is completed.
The measure has been referred to two committees - House Judiciary and House
Appropriations, and it could soon be set for a public hearing in the first committee.

To all gun rights enthusiasts and supporters of the 2nd Amendment to the constitution now is the time to make sure that your voices are being heard LOUD & CLEAR. There is absolutely nothing in this proposed legislation that addressees the real issues as it relates to gun violence.
Nothing addressing mental health issues and safeguards against these folks getting a gun.
Nothing addressing criminal activity with a gun.
Nothing related to mandatory sentences and sentencing for gun crimes.
Only more restrictions that affect law abiding gun owners in New Mexico and this can't stand.
