Sustainable Seafood Festival
June 10, 2010 (6:00 pm – 9:00 pm)
Albuquerque Aquarium and Rio Grande Botanic Garden, 2601 Central Ave. NW
Admission:  General $15 / VIP $20 (VIP incl. gift bag with conservation button, plush animal, complimentary drink tickets)
 
If you like seafood, you won’t want to miss the Sustainable Seafood Festival being held at the BioPark. You will be able to sample scrumptious seafood, listen to live music, listen to lectures, and take a casual stroll through the Aquarium and Garden.
 
 
 
Albuquerque PrideFest 2010
June 11- June 12, 2010 (Friday 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm / Saturday 11:00 am – 7:00 pm)
New Mexico Expo Fairgrounds, Central Avenue NE and San Pedro Drive NE

 Duke city welcomes the GLBT community and expects to draw hundreds of participants to the annual Gay Pride celebration at the Expo Fairgrounds. Celebrants will have plenty of headlining entertainers, parties, parades, art show, and booths representing gay friendly businesses and organizations to enjoy. Things fill up quickly so purchase your tickets online.
 
 
 
12th Annual Albuquerque Folk Festival
June 18 – June 19, 2010 (Friday 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm / Saturday 10:00 am – 10:00 pm)
New Mexico Expo Fairgrounds, Central Avenue NE and San Pedro Drive NE
Admission:       $15 Friday 
$20 Saturday 
$15 Saturday (entry after 7:00 pm)
$25 Both Friday and Saturday 
$5 Children age 11-18 (under age 11 enter FREE)
$5 discount for seniors (60+) and students age 19-25 with ID
 
 
Lots of fun will be had at this year’s Albuquerque Folk Festival at the Expo Grounds. Music, workshops, dancing, crafts, children’s activities, competitions and so much more await you.
 
According to the Albuquerque Folk Festival , they “provide an opportunity for the public to experience and participate in folk music, song, dance, and storytelling through educational workshops, demonstrations and performances. Folk activities enhance community expression and the continuance of cultural traditions.” .....Head out for a day or weekend of FUN!
