Albany's refurbished Victory Cafe reopens

The Victory Cafe reopened today in Albany's downtown entertainment district after a brief closing.

The restaurant, located at 10 Sheridan Avenue, had been closed since January 9 for a remodeling project in the bar area.

However, as all who ever have been involved in construction projcts know, not everything goes as planned. As the management says on its website:

"We are now open with some limitations. Remodeling never goes as planned! We want to make sure our faithful followers can still stop in for a bite to eat so we will be using the dining room door for the main entrance and will be utilizing the upstairs bar as well. Please pardon our appearance while we attempt to improve the Victory Cafe. Soon we will be fully operational and the improvements will be finished for all to see."
