Alba Osteria debuts a new weekday happy hour

Washington, D.C.– Alba Osteria, Hakan Ilhan's new restaurant with a total occupancy of 226 is pleased to introduce a happy hour menu showcasing authentic Italian cuisine reflective of the Piedmonte region of Italy, the homeland of Executive Chef Roberto Donna. Available exclusively at the bar Monday through Friday, from 4 PM to 7 PM, Alba Osteria’s happy hour is hard to beat with draught beers and fusion shot specials priced at $4, plus featured house cocktails and draught wines for $5 each. In addition, happy hour goers may choose to sip on the specialty cocktail of the day priced at $8.

Guests won’t go hungry during happy hour with small bites reflective of the Piedmonte region prepared by Chef Donna and Chef de Cuisine Amy Brandwein. Choices include a complimentary serving ofMortadella (a large Italian sausage made of finely hashed or ground, heat-cured pork). One can also order Batsoa (a historic dish featuring the leg meat from veal, pork or beef), and Capunet (stuffed cabbage leaves) which are priced at $5 each. Neapolitan pizza baked in the Ferrara wood-fired oven from Naples will also be available for half price during the weekly happy hour.

Alba Osteria is located at 425 I Street, NW, 20001 and is open Monday through Thursday from 11 AM to 11 PM; Friday from 11 AM to 12 AM; Saturday from 10:30 AM to 12 AM; and Sunday from 10:30 AM to 11 PM.
