Mentor ,OH -The records flew off the shelves and yes I mean vinyl . I witnessed compacts disks , DVD, records ,8 tracts and even one reel to reel being produced by fans both young and old alike .The legendary musician and recording engineer made a rare Mentor , Ohio appearance at the Record Den , one of the few stores that still carry vinyl and one of the last of the true independent music stores in the buckeye state . With credits to Pink Floyds Dark Side of the Moon and The Beatles Abby Road besides his own material some fans had more items to sign then could be held with two hands . To his credit Alan was gracious and forthcoming to his fans posing for pictures and signing anything they wanted signed . Alan is in town to perform at the Masonic Auditorium Performance Arts Center tomorrow night .Tickets are still available and it’s a rare North East Ohio appearance and one not to be missed . A huge amount of credit should go to both Record Den for keeping music alive and hosting and in store appearance and The Cleveland Masonic Auditorium /Performance Arts Center for hosting the upcoming concert .
