A video was released late last night by Randall Terry of the anti-abortion, anti-Obama protest at Notre Dame yesterday. Alan Keyes and 21 others were arrested and later released. The video shows Keyes pushing a doll covered in blood in a baby stroller and another protester wearing an Obama mask covered in blood.
Randall Terry, leader of the StopObamaNotreDame.com campaign said in a WorldNetDaily report that:
…he believes Keyes and several of the 21 other protesters intend to remain in jail through the weekend. In fact, a witness from the jail told Terry that Keyes has been using his time behind bars to preach – for hours on end – to the inmates.
"Pro-life activism has been dying," Terry said, "but this has given us a fresh line of defense to regroup."
Now, Terry is urging others to follow Keyes' example.
"We are asking people to come," Terry said. "We want to have 50 or 100 people in jail next weekend, so that every time that the media discusses Obama speaking at Notre Dame, they talk about the fact that there are people in jail for protesting his appearance."
Earlier, Terry told WND that he hoped the efforts would cause Obama to cancel his commencement appearance at the university.
"There would be no better witness to the world of the value of these babies – who Obama is even now slaughtering – than if there are hundreds of people sitting in jail," Terry said.
"My goal, and my challenge to everyone, is to create such a political mud pit here that Obama chooses to not walk through it in order to speak," he said. "The only way that's going to happen is by massive social tension on the ground. That's why these arrests are going to be so critical."
Terry adds: "Notre Dame arrests Christians who defend babies, and honors a man who kills them. This is an open wound in the Church. The question is this: Will a Catholic Bishop step up and demand this betrayal of the Faith be brought to a halt?"
While Terry and Keyes claim to simply be following the tactics of Martin Luther King by peacefully protesting they ignore the fact that King never held mock lynchings or used images of violence to promote peace.

Dr. Keyes and Randall Terry should be allowed to protest and not be arrested. Funny how the MSM would have covered this had it been George W. Bush and 2 protesters who fit the agenda of media types.
Finally, what image of violence are you talking about Ron? Abortion is committing a murder. 7 days after conception, the child's heart is beating. Isn't that the standard we use to determine when a person is dead?
Meanwhile, CODE PINKO people assault SoS Condi Rice in a congressional hearing waving blood covered hands IN HER FACE and there is no problem because THEY WERE INVITED by a Democrat on the panel.
This country has become so damn twisted it will not be recognizable in 10 years.

Did you really write that crap? You don't get it both ways. Either abortion is violence against a living human or it isn't. You don't get to claim it isn't when the brains are vacuumed out of a viable baby, just seconds and millimeters from being completely in this world and then turn around and claim the depiction of such on a damn child's toy (doll) is a depiction of violence.
