Alamo Bowl 2013 live stream is available for the Oregon vs. Texas game. TV game start time for the 2013 Alamo Bowl and live stream coverage are both available through ESPN at kickoff (3:45 p.m. PT). A report from ESPN Monday (Dec. 30) has the Oregon Ducks as 14 1/2 point favorites to win this game. That's a pretty impressive spread since this is basically a home game for the Texas Longhorns.
This isn't exactly the postseason game that the Ducks were hoping to play in, especially with all the BCS title talk at the beginning of the season. Losing two games in conference play dropped the team out of contention for the Rose Bowl, though, and sent them pretty far down the overall Pac-12 standings. The 10-2 record is still impressive and the team is highly favored in this game for a reason. Quarterback Marcus Mariota is coming back to play another season, so this also won't be the last time fans see him take the field.
Texas is a school in transition and in search of a new coach to run the football program. The team finished the regular season with an 8-4 record and certainly has its work cut out for them against the Ducks. The Longhorns average only 31.2 points per game, but may need to really turn it up against an offense that averages 46.8 points per game. This will be the final game for Longhorns quarterback Case McCoy, so he will definitely be looking to put on a show.
The 2013 Alamo Bowl live stream coverage begins at 3:45 p.m. PT on the Watch ESPN application and on ESPN for the TV audience. This Oregon vs. Texas game might also be the most watched bowl game of the postseason so far as well.
