Alabama Shakes announce summer 2013 North American tour dates

On March 11 the American rock band Alabama Shakes announced on their Facebook page headlining tour dates for the summer of 2013. The North American tour begins in Columbus, Ohio on June 18 and ends in Minneapolis, Minn. on July 28. You can view a complete list of tour dates below.

During Alabama Shakes' summer 2013 North American tour the band will perform 16 concerts over a five and a half week time span. They will not only perform headlining concerts but also perform at Firefly Music Festival, Forecastle Festival, Calgary Folk Festival, and Grand Targhee Festival.

Alabama Shakes will be touring in support of their debut studio album, "Boys & Girls" which was released on April 9, 2012 via Rough Trade Records/ATO Records. In support of the album the band recently appeared as a musical guest on "Saturday Night Live" and you can watch that live performance here.

Fly Golden Eagle and Hurray for the Riff Raff will open on select dates. Fan club pre-sale tickets are currently on sale here. Tickets go on sale to the general public beginning March 15 and 16.
