On Monday, released a story about the out of control nature of Auburn fans towards native son, Rashaan Evans. The five-star recruit from Auburn High school signed with Alabama on Wednesday and life has been tarnished since that moment.

Here are a few quotes from Rashaan Evans’ interview with

"You know I knew this would happen. I knew people would be mad and say stuff. I didn't think it would be like this. It wasn't a complete shock to me, but I guess that's just how fans are.

"It's just crazy right now. What's getting crazy is people are going to the board at my school trying to get me in trouble. They are telling my teachers I am a bad kid and all this stuff. It's just bad right now.

"Social media has definitely been the worst. People on Instagram are telling me how they hope I tear my ACL in game one. They will laugh when I do. They are saying my family is horrible and how they didn't raise me right. It's just crazy."

Josh Sanchez of said that it was obvious Evans would be “public enemy No. 1 after signing with rival Alabama, but the backlash is utterly ridiculous.

Of course it’s not the whole Auburn fan base that has bombarded Evans with twitter insults, but if it’s one person, it might as well be the whole War Eagle nation.

Auburn Fans said they hope that Rashaan Evans tears an ACL in his first game. These are the same type of fans that get pushed at a Big 12 basketball game.

If that wasn’t bad enough, reports that one Auburn fan wrote an article telling all Auburn fans to boycott his family business. Evans’ is worried about the family losing money.

What if his decision to go to Alabama didn’t work out, and he decided to transfer? After all of the repercussions of signing with Alabama, Evans should never consider Auburn in the future.
