Vince’s View on Alabama in the NFL From Last Week
Bengals DE Antwan Odom was suspended by the NFL for four games for violation of the league’s substance abuse policy regarding performance enhancing drugs. Odom has been able to play during his appeal. That appeal was denied.

Here’s a look inside the numbers for last week: 9 former Alabama players started in Week 5; 10 players were in reserve roles but played; 1 player was active but did not play (Croyle); 4 players were inactive; 2 players were on bye weeks; 1 player is on injured reserve (Marquis Johnson); 1 player was on the practice squad (Greenwood).
