Alabama boy held in bunker for 7 days is safe

Parents and concerned citizens across the country breathe a huge sigh of relief as a 5-year old Alabama boy is released from an underground bunker. According to Reuters, it has been 7 days since 65 year old Vietnam veteran Jimmy Lee Dykes shot a school bus driver and kidnapped a small child. Police officers believed the child to be in danger and acted quickly; Dykes was killed, but no details have been released. All reports say the child is safe and apparently unharmed.
