Two young boys in Syria were executed by Al Qaeda rebels in Syria, for supporting Assad, after a prisoner exchange fell through. The two were forced to their knees and blindfolded as the charges against them were read, just before they were shot multiple times.
This is not the first time that terrorists of Al Qaeda have targeted children. Earlier this year, they executed a 14 year old boy because they thought he might have uttered an insult about the prophet Mohammed. His mother said that he had told an innocent joke about Mohammed and was executed for it.
Here is the video of the execution of the two young boys being shot down. Do not watch if you are easily upset. It is very graphic.
The Al Qaeda rebels recently raided a Kurdish village, where they killed 450 Kurds, including 120 children. It sparked outrage in the international community and has people questioning President Obama's support for the rebels. The attack is in direct violation of the Geneva Convention, which forbids the targeting of civilians. The attack reeks of ethnic cleansing.
Pesident Obama has remained silent on the attack but the attack was condemned by the United Nations. Americans are questioning this administration's support for terrorist groups like the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, the air support the US gave to Al Qaeda in the Libyan uprising, and now for the butchers of small children and unarmed civilians in Syria by Al Qaeda. Recent polls indicate that a large majority of Americans think we should not be involved.
